After the loss of their home, Thorin and his refugees traverse across Middle Earth in search of a new home. They are attacked by orcs along their way. Dis takes up Dwalin’s hammer and starts fighting along with everyone. A princess should protect her people too! An orc tries to attack her from behind and she’s able to deflect and knock his face in in time. However, she still gets nicked by the orc’s sword.
After the fight:
Dis: Dwalin I’m fine. Put me down, please!
Dwalin: No, you’re hurt.
Dis: It’s only a scratch.
Dwalin: That scratch is no laughing matter, princess. We must get it treated.
Dis: ….—-while walking, Dwalin is still carrying Dis—-
Dwalin: You fought bravely.
Dis:…was I really brave?
Dwalin: Aye, and strong. I admire that about you, m’lady. Willing to protect the ones you care dearly.
Dis: *chuckles* Flattery will get you nowhere, Ser Dwalin. But thank you for noticing… (falls asleep in Dwalin’s arm due to exhaustion)
